Geez.......I have never taken such abuse for not submitting a blog:). Kudos to Kristi for getting this old dog to do alittle updating. Speaking of dogs....oh, never mind; you are all tired of seeing those pictures!
I will get on the band wagon with Kristi that everyone should have a full body check with your dermatologist. Ohh, full body check. Sounds dreadful, but it really isn't that bad! I have done this for 2 years now. Does it stop me from getting a little dark while in Mazatlan, nah! I think it is one of those things that until something bad happens then I might change my mind about the sun. Tanned skin just makes me feel better!! I do not spend as much time in the tanning booth though like I use to. Before going somewhere where I might enjoy my time sitting by the pool and sipping wonderful concoctions I will spend a little time at the booth, just so I won't burn. Well, anyway I'm happy the Kristi's results came back negative.
Jessica & Brett, welcome to the world of "home ownership" congratulations!! Now the dreaded moving; yuck!
Well I better stop sputtering on as I might not have anything else to blog about come next month.......I will try to do better. RSS that would be a wonderful thing, but I'm a little confused about how it needs to get setup. I'm guessing someone out there might help me out!

We've Gone to The Dogs
Life seems hectic, but we still try to take time to play. Play with our dogs and our kid's dogs! We have a new addition to the family, meet Sasy.......a 17 week old female Hungarian German Shepherd. She is the typical puppy, always on the go!
Buddy, a male German Shepherd and Ponch, the Yellow Lab get to come in every evening and "warm up". Buddy has decided that his choice spot is on the sofa where I always sit. Ponch, well he is a cold blooded hound and sits curled up on t
he blanket or in this case under the blanket!
Since Wednesday we have had 2 extra dogs at the house! While Emily and Allison are staying at Grandma White's house we have been babysitting their dogs. I had the great idea of getting all the dogs together for a family picture. I'm glad Tony was quick, as it didn't take long for them to all go running! Like I said, we literally have "gone to the dogs"!
Beautiful Transformation
With the last weekend bringing us a little precipitation I could not resist getting some pictures of the orchard. Actually Katie snapped the pictures with my camera! When I drove to church Sunday morning it was really cool to see all the ice on everything, I couldn't wait to get back home and get some snapshots! The trees survived the ice just fine.

Update
It has been a pretty busy month and a half! Obviously since I haven't blogged in a while. The garden is on the downside of producing, thank goodness. I still need to can some carrots though and the potatoes are ready to be dug up. I think this will be the week to do that (I hope). We've had zucchini, tomatoes and cucumbers coming out of our ears! Since all the rain we finally received the peppers are doing nicely now. We went to a few farmers market in Akron and Hawarden and then took some of our produce to the local Pizza Ranch and another steak house. So that was kind of fun!
We picked about 5 5gallon buckets of Wealthy apples, so we froze those and I made an apple crisp yesterday, yummy!!
My new job is going well, I'm 3 weeks into it now and really enjoy the challenge. They have been without an office manager for 6 months and had 2 men trying to manage things!! So you might guess that things are a little unorganized.
Hope everyone is doing well~

Special Visitor
So last night after working outside Tony decided to take a dip in the pool. It was about 9:30 or so and I was in the house and I could hear Tony calling me. I opened the back patio door and he was going, "hoo, hoo" and pointing to my left. When I looked there sat a small hoot owl! We couldn't believe he came so close to the house and then would let us look at him and take pictures! Awesome!!
